What is Eferpe
Eferpe is a series of pressure vessels for water filtration systems. The tubes are made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic with an inner plastic liner, ensuring they are water-safe and chemically resistant. This construction makes the tubes lighter than steel while still being able to withstand the high operating pressures common in industrial filtration systems.
Function of Eferpe Tube
- Filtration media housing for silica sand, activated carbon, manganese zeolite, or other media combinations.
- Filtration of coarse and fine particles to reduce turbidity and sediment.
- Reduction of chemical contaminants (chlorine, odor, color) when filled with activated carbon.
- Water softening when filled with ion exchange cation resin to reduce hardness (Ca and Mg).

Function of Eferpe Tube
Eferpe tubes are available in various diameters and heights. The common naming format is diameter x height in inches. For example, 4272 means a nominal diameter of 42 inches by a height of 72 inches.
